Als software developer bij Ponthus zet je wensen, problemen of vragen van de opdrachtgever om naar concrete software-oplossingen. Hierbij draag jij de verantwoordelijkheid voor het gehele proces. Van de ontwikkeling van de software tot het schrijven, implementeren, testen en verbeteren daarvan. Daarnaast onderhoud je de software, overleg je met de opdrachtgever en plan je de werkzaamheden.
Taken
De software developer begrijpt processen en knelpunten in een organisatie en analyseert de eisen waaraan de benodigde software moet voldoen. Je werkt de gewenste specificaties van de software uit. In nauw overleg met zowel de opdrachtgever als je collega’s bij Ponthus ontwikkel en produceer je de software en plan je programmeerwerkzaamheden. Natuurlijk test je de software uitvoerig om er zeker van te zijn dat deze correct functioneert en voldoet aan de eisen van de eindgebruiker. Je schrijft de begeleidende documentatie en traint de eindgebruikers zodat zij het meeste halen uit de software. Eenmaal geïmplementeerd, onderhoud je de software en pas je deze aan wanneer nodig.

Wie ben jij?
Jij bent de software developer die wensen en problemen weet te vertalen naar concrete oplossingen. Je bent klantgericht en vraagt door om de behoeften van de opdrachtgever in kaart te brengen. Je bent creatief in het zoeken naar oplossingen en organisatorisch sterk. Ook communicatief sta je sterk in je schoenen, zowel naar collega’s, als naar klanten.
Back-end / API developer:
– 2+ jaar development ervaring
– Ervaring met ten minste een populair Python framework (Django, Flask, Bottle, FastAPI, etc.)
– Ervaring met het maken en gebruiken van RESTful API’s (REST, Web Services, SOAP, XML, etc.) bij voorkeur met DRF
– Expertise in SQL, RDBMS, Data Modelling, Database programmeren etc.
– Kennis van object-relational mapping (ORM)
– Ervaring met Object Oriented Programming en bekent met MVC frameworks
Kennis en ervaring met onderstaande is een pre:
– Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
– CI/CD Pipelines
– Front-end technologie (JavaScript, HTML5)
– WebUI development met JavaScript (React)
– Vloeiend in het schrijven van herbruikbare, testbare, schone en efficiënte code
– Cloud ervaring, met name Azure.
Front-end developer:
– 2+ jaar development ervaring in JavaScript frameworks
– Ervaring met ten minste een populair JavaScript framework (ReactJS, Redux, Angular, andere)
– Ervaring met UX, design met JS, HTML5 en CSS, etc.
– Ervaring met UI via RESTful API’s (HTTP, REST, JSON, etc.)
– Kennis van SQL, RDBMS, Data Modelling Database programmeren, etc.
Kennis en ervaring met onderstaande is een pre:
– Linxux, Docker, Kubernetes
– CI/CD Pipelines
– Back-end technologie (Python, Java Framework, etc.)
– Vloeiend in het schrijven van herbruikbare, testbare, schone en efficiënte code
– Cloud ervaring, met name Azure.
Daarnaast beschik je over:
– MBO niveau 4 of HBO werk- en denkniveau
– Afgeronde opleiding (Technische) Informatica of Industriële Automatisering
– Relevante werkervaring en aantoonbare resultaten in het expertise-gebied

Your new job
As a software developer at Ponthus, you convert the wishes, challenges and questions of the client into concrete software solutions. You bear the responsibility for the entire process. From the development of the software to the writing, implementation, testing and improvement of it. In addition, you maintain the software, consult with the client and plan the work.
Tasks
The software developer understands processes and bottlenecks in an organization and analyzes the requirements that the required software must meet. You work out the desired specifications of the software. In close consultation with both the client and your colleagues at Ponthus, you develop and produce the software and plan programming activities. Of course, you test the software extensively to make sure that it functions correctly and meets the requirements of the end user. You write the accompanying documentation and train the end users so that they get the most out of the software. Once implemented, you maintain the software and adjust it as needed.

Who are you?

– 2+ years of development experience
– Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, Bottle, FastAPI, etc.)
– Experience of creating and consuming RESTful APIs – REST, Web Services, SOAP, XML, etc., preferably with DRF
– Expertise in SQL, RDBMS, Data Modelling Database programming etc.
