Your job
As a Data Engineer you are the link between business and IT and you help clients to work data-driven. It is your challenge to translate both technical and functional information needs into a solution. By asking the right questions you know what data is needed and what the solution looks like. You analyze the reporting needs and available sources together with the organization and translate this into a logical data model and reporting options. 

One time you unlock data and build data warehouses or dashboards in PowerBI. In another project you focus on building a complete BI environment in Microsoft Azure. What matters is that you can always tell the story behind the data and translate this into a good solution for the client. 

Your profile
– HBO/WO working and thinking level.
– Completed training in Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Analytics, Business IT & Management, or similar. 
– You have at least 3 years of experience in the Data Engineering field.
– You are familiar with the various BI tooling and data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft DataFactory and SQL Server. – Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus. 
– You have knowledge and experience with Git.
– You have a sharp analytical ability.
– You think it’s important to keep developing yourself and to share your knowledge and experience with colleagues.
– You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
– You are a team player.
