Your new job
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant at Ponthus, you will see the importance of data in business processes. For our clients, you make connections between data from different systems and expose problems. In short, you understand the company behind the data. You then advise the customer on how to better organize company data and work processes and you supervise the implementation.

Tasks
The BI Consultant has a very diverse function that requires both independence and cooperation. You work together with various parties, such as data scientists, software developers and office managers. In addition to consulting with the customer about their information needs, you draw up technical and functional documentation. You perform complex (data) analyses and are responsible for setting up, maintaining and expanding the data warehouse. You draw up conceptual data models and test the BI solutions before issuing advice.

Who are you?
You use your knowledge of data and business consultancy to solve problems and help clients move forward. You have a critical eye and keep searching until the cause is found. As a person you are curious and independent, but you also excell in a team. You are customer- and result-oriented and know how to convince. 

In addition, you have:
– HBO working and thinking level
– Completed education in Business Informatics, Business Analytics, Business IT and Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
